On September 26-27, 2023, under the guidance of Department of Industry and Information Technology of Guangdong Province, Industry and Information Technology Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality and China Energy & Automobile Media Group Ltd., the "2023 Automotive Semiconductor Ecosystem Summit and Global Automotive Electronics Expo" sponsored by China Automobile News and hosted by JW Insights was solemnly held in Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center. Yang Xudong, deputy director of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, attended the ceremony and delivered a speech. 1.Intelligent cockpit and human-computer interaction

The penetration rate of new cars equipped with smart cockpit technology in China is faster than that in the world, with a compound annual growth rate of more than 50% from 2020 to 2025. Smart cockpit has gradually become the rigid demand equipment for smart cars. Intelligent cockpit is moving from the past distributed architecture to the current form of coexistence of domain centralized architecture and central centralized architecture. In the future, it will further evolve into a centralized architecture with central domain controller integration and cloud computing, and the core competence of OEM will also change from hardware to software, architecture and ecological construction. With the further popularization of domain control and central computing platforms, the complexity of software and hardware not only seeks to break the situation at the technical level, but also needs to meet the diverse needs of the new generation of consumers for security, wisdom and comfort.

2. Intelligent chassis
In line with the trend of vehicle intellectualization and electrification, the traditional chassis has been difficult to meet the growing demand, and the integration control of intelligent chassis is an innovation based on the emerging demand. Because the intelligent chassis needs to rely on cameras and radar related sensors to collect the surrounding environment information, the data is transmitted to a single central processing unit for operation and fusion control, so as to carry out application allocation and function development; at the same time, in the executive layer, due to the development of steer-by-wire and active suspension towards automation and intellectualization, it is necessary to realize 1 + 1 > 2 collaborative control and integration of innovative functions through intelligent chassis architecture in the future.

3. Powertrain
The technology of new fuel internal combustion engine for carbon neutralization has become a worldwide issue. The pursuit of improving energy efficiency of internal combustion engine will lead to revolutionary changes in the requirements of powertrain applications. At the same time, the development of powertrain electrification is far faster than expected, and opportunities and challenges coexist. The market penetration rate of electric vehicles has jumped from 6% in 2020 to 28% in 2022, and now it has exceeded 30%. Driven by the comprehensive market competition, the electric power assembly will reduce costs, increase efficiency and scale effect, and the electric drive system (EDU), power electronic equipment components, battery packs, thermal management systems and other electric components will enter a period of rapid growth. The average annual growth rate in the next five years may exceed 40%. 

4. ADAS and autonomous driving
A new round of technological and industrial revolution has brought great opportunities to intelligent driving, and scenarios and safety are important challenges for intelligent driving. At present, the intelligent driving industry is developing rapidly and tends to be pragmatic, in which the low-level L2 scheme is developing in the direction of low-cost integration of driving and parking, and the high-level L2+ and above scheme is developing in the direction of medium computing power, less laser and light map. With the Hong Qi as the example, the development of intelligent driving technology will focus on three typical scenarios of highway, urban road and parking with the main line of safety, and build a product platform of L2 driving assistant system, L3 conditional automatic driving system and L4 demonstration pre-research technology platform to build a full-scene and full-stack solution for intelligent driving.

5. Investment and financing of automotive electronics industry
Under the trend of automotive electrification and intellectualization, the value of vehicle chips will continue to rise. From technology, market share to international competition, Chinese semiconductor enterprises are at an important historical node, facing a series of challenges such as technological gap, instability of global supply chain and fluctuation of market demand. Under the background of supply chain security and cost reduction, OEM and Tier1 will continue to boost the localization rate of automotive chips.
